Reiki Classes
The John Harvey Gray Center for Reiki Healing teaches Reiki classes at all levels from Beginner First Degree Reiki to Reiki Master Teacher. All of our Reiki classes are designed to support our students wherever they are being guided on their personal life path. Many of our students are interested in learning Reiki for personal healing or spiritual awakening, for healing others and even for healing pets! Others are interested in expanding their knowledge of alternative forms of healing. Still others want to learn how to create a Reiki healing practice of their own.
All classes are taught by John Harvey Gray and Lourdes Gray. They are charismatic teachers, and gifted healers. They bring a wealth of Reiki knowledge, history, practical Reiki healing experience and a great sense of humor to the classroom. All Reiki workshops consist of two full days of learning, ample hands-on practice and no cut corners to ensure that you are immediately certified to work on yourself, others and pets. An ancient healing art, Reiki, (pronounced “ray-key”) is the Japanese word for Universal Life Energy. This energy is all around us and we can channel it to help ourselves and others. The Reiki process is a simple method of hands-on healing as developed by Dr. Mikao Usui of Kyoto, Japan. When done properly, energy flows through the arms and hands of the healer and into the cells of the person being treated, enhancing and accelerating the body's natural healing process. It helps to reestablish balance and harmony on the physical, emotional, and spiritual planes so that the natural function is restored. Reiki differs from other healing methods in that a specific attunement process is used to prepare students for the flow of healing energy. This protects them from either transmitting or absorbing any negative energetic patterns. Reiki is often used as a complementary treatment to standard medical care or psychotherapy. It can also serve as an essential tool in ones spiritual practice.
